arXiv:2610.19432v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Comparing financial disclosures across languages requires identifying shared accounting concepts and recovering all numerical facts that express them. Existing benchmarks evaluate aspects of these capabilities, but provide limited insight into whet
arXiv:2610.27043v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Financial institutions increasingly deploy large language models (LLMs) in multilingual markets, raising a practical question: can pipelines developed and validated in English be reused across languages, or must they be rebuilt per locale? We test cr
arXiv:2610.27205v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Web agents are typically evaluated on English-language interfaces, leaving their ability to operate across the world's multilingual websites largely unexplored. To address this gap, we introduce ELARSpeech, a large-s
arXiv:2610.28066v1 Announce Type: cross Abstract: Multilingual evaluations often score a model's opening yes or no, a token that also carries model and language answering conventions. We ask when different ways of eliciting and reading an answer recover the same judgment, and when they measure an an

arXiv:2610.20247v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Multilingual models share capacity across languages, so adding languages can hurt performance on existing ones. Mixture-of-experts models expand this capacity with little additional per-token computation. Given this extra capacity, does adding expe

arXiv:2602.02326v3 Announce Type: replace Abstract: If multilingual language model representations contain separable language-associated structure, then shifting between languages may require only simple activation-space interventions. To test this hypothesis, we study multilingual in-context learni
arXiv:2610.20221v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly deployed across languages, yet their safety and reasoning capabilities remain predominantly evaluated in English. Translating existing benchmarks offers a scalable approach to multilingual evaluation, but p
arXiv:2610.19134v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Feature distillation is usually expected to add to logit distillation. We find that this expectation does not hold for two common feature losses in compact multilingual automatic speech recognition (ASR), and analyze why through their gradients. The gr
arXiv:2610.20102v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: We investigate two aspects of multilingual pre-training with limited data, namely how language exposure is distributed across English, Dutch, and Chinese, and how that exposure is ordered during training. In particular, we compare balanced multilingual
arXiv:2605.16026v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Multilingual speech translation frontends built on speech large language models typically condition on language identity, as a learned embedding or a prompted language name. Such a signal, however, is learned separately for each language and
arXiv:2606.02465v2 Announce Type: replace-cross Abstract: Reasoning language models (RLMs) achieve strong performance on complex reasoning tasks, but still exhibit substantial multilingual reasoning gaps, largely due to language-understanding failures when interpreting non-English inputs. arXiv:2610.11978v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Jev is a "System One" model that returns a choice among given options instead of generating text. We study how such a specialized decision model compares with general-purpose large language models (LLMs). We evaluate Jev on 13 multiple-choice benchmark
arXiv:2610.11520v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: End-to-end speech parsing, a task recently proposed, consists in predicting both the transcription and the syntactic tree for a spoken utterance. Existing architectures for speech parsing often utilise intermediate neural networks. In this work, we exa
arXiv:2610.11275v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Phoneme-level models transcribe or generate speech as a sequence of phonemes, the smallest sound units that distinguish words.
