Draft - not yet in force

This text was written from what the Databubble code actually does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer or an accountant and it is not legal advice. Search engines are told not to index it until it is reviewed and published.

Information still missing on this page (highlighted in the text):

  • Legal name of the publisher (company name, or your full name if you operate as an individual)
  • Legal form and, for a company, share capital (for example "SAS with a share capital of ...")
  • Postal address of the publisher
  • Company registration number (SIREN / SIRET, or the local equivalent)
  • VAT number, or the exact exemption statement your accountant gives you if you are not VAT-registered
  • How prices are shown with regard to VAT or sales tax (for example "prices include VAT where it applies")
  • Governing law and competent courts for customers
  • Consumer mediator (name and website), required when you sell to consumers in France
  • Effective date of the final texts (for example 2026-11-01)

Who we are

These terms apply to databubble.co (“Databubble”), published by [legal entity name: to be completed], [legal form and share capital: to be completed], [address: to be completed], registration number [registration number: to be completed], VAT [VAT number or exemption statement: to be completed]. By creating an account, subscribing or otherwise using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

The service

Databubble is an AI model tracker and news aggregator. Most of it is free and works without an account. A free account adds features such as a watchlist, votes and comments. The paid Pro plan adds the features described on the Pricing page at the time you subscribe.

Your account

  • Give a valid email address and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

Pro subscription and billing

  • Price: $12 per month or $99 per year, in US dollars. [tax statement: to be completed]
  • Payment is handled by Stripe. Your payment method is charged when you subscribe and at the start of each new period.
  • Pro renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend Pro access until it is resolved.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in Settings with Manage Subscription, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds and your legal right of withdrawal are covered in the Refund policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or the rights of others when using Databubble;
  • overload or disrupt the service, scrape or copy the database in bulk, or get around rate limits or access controls;
  • resell or redistribute Databubble data in bulk without our written permission;
  • share your account or API keys;
  • post comments that are unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringe someone's rights;
  • try to access other users' data.

Draft note: the bulk-redistribution limit is a placeholder policy. Some upstream data sources limit what Databubble may pass on; confirm the wording against their terms.

Data and content from others

Model, benchmark and pricing data comes from third-party public sources listed on the About and Methodology pages. News items show the publisher's own summary and link to the original article. Third parties own their content, names and trademarks, and nothing on Databubble implies their endorsement.

We work to keep the data right, but it can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Check the source before you rely on it. Databubble is for information only and is not investment, financial, legal or technical advice.

Stack Watch alerts and change log

Pro includes Stack Watch: email alerts and a weekly digest sent to the email address of your account, and a change log, about the models on your watchlist that we track. We may change which models are covered, how often they are checked and which changes trigger an alert.

  • Alerts cover API-only models in the OpenRouter catalogue, meaning models without a Hugging Face page. Models from Hugging Face are not tracked, even when a hosted API price is shown for them.
  • Checked once a day. A change is confirmed on a second daily check before it is sent, so an alert arrives within about two days of the change appearing in our data. At most one alert email a day, plus a weekly digest on Mondays.
  • Prices and context windows come from public aggregators (OpenRouter and LiteLLM) and can differ from the provider's own pricing page. Check the provider before you change spend.
  • Alerts, the digest and the change log are information only. They are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, timely or delivered: a change can be missed or reported late, a message can be delayed, filtered as spam or lost, and an alert can be wrong. They are not investment, financial, procurement, legal or technical advice. Check the provider before you change what you spend or build.
  • Alerts and the digest are sent only while your Pro subscription is active. You can turn them off at any time in Settings or with the unsubscribe link in any email.

Draft note: the alert data comes from OpenRouter and LiteLLM. AUDIT-2026-10-07.md (upstream licensing) rates OpenRouter data as needing permission, because its terms reserve the compilation and bar scraping, and LiteLLM prices as allowed (MIT with notice). Resolve the OpenRouter question before turning Stack Watch on; see Known limits in docs/stack-watch-spec.md. This section was written from that spec, not from legal advice.

Your content

You keep ownership of the comments you post. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display them on Databubble for as long as they are published. You are responsible for them, and we may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

Our rights

The site's design, code, databubble_score and the way data is compiled belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you no right to them beyond using the service as intended.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Databubble available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features, and we will tell paying subscribers in advance where we reasonably can.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, the service is provided as is and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or decisions you take based on the data shown.

Ending your use

You can stop using Databubble at any time and ask us to delete your account at [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where that is reasonable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date shown at the top of the page. For changes that affect subscribers, we will notify you by email or on the site before they apply to your next renewal.

Governing law and disputes

[governing law and courts: to be completed]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

Consumer mediator: [consumer mediator: to be completed].

Contact

[email protected] or the contact form. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy policy.
